New!A special place will be given to Young RP Professionals (<35 years old). An “ISOE Young RP Professionals Award” will be attributed to promote young people whose works have been noted for their quality and originality.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 ISOE International Symposium has been postponed to June 2022.

Survey on the Impact of COVID-19 on RP Management in NPPs

The ISOE European Technical Centre (CEPN) is conducting a survey on the precautionary measures implemented by the nuclear utilities to reduce the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 coronavirus and their impact on radiation protection management and practices.

Please note that the answers are made available on the restricted area of the ISOE website according to the usual rules, i.e. available for all ISOE Members (Utilities and Authorities) or for Utilities only according to the decision of each responder.

2019 ISOE ATC Benchmarking Exchange for Radiation Protection

20-22 November 2019
Ehime, Japan

Organised by the Asian Technical Centre (ATC) and Nuclear Safety Research Association (NSRA)

Two site visits are scheduled: Ikata NPP on November 21 and Yawatahama city general hospital and Nuclear Maintenance and Training Center on November 22.

Language: Japanese and Korean (Japanese/Korean consecutive interpretation will be provided for participants)

EAN Workshop on ALARA for Decommissioning and Site Remediation

The next European ALARA Network Workshop on ALARA for Decommissioning and Site Remediation is organised in collaboration with the ISOE WGDECOM.
The workshop will consist of presentations highlighting the key issues and also working group discussion sessions. 
The programme is organized around the following topics:
– Session 1. – Setting the scene
– Session 2. – ALARA in the decommissioning of nuclear installations
– Session 3. – ALARA in the decommissioning/remediation of sites outside the nuclear sector
 -Session 4. – Transversal and overriding issues: the holistic approach, waste, communication etc.
